D&D; Auto Tech is an Adelaide-based automotive repair workshop specializing in the servicing, diagnostics, maintenance and repair of passenger motor vehicles.

Due to continued business growth, we are seeking a qualified and experienced Motor Mechanic to join our team on a full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose mechanical faults in petrol and diesel engines, transmissions and other vehicle systems using specialized diagnostic equipment.
Inspect, dismantle, repair and replace defective engine, transmission, steering, suspension, braking and other mechanical components.
Perform scheduled servicing, preventative maintenance, tune-ups, oil and filter changes in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
Repair and replace engines, clutches, gearboxes, steering, suspension, braking and cooling system components.
Test, adjust and tune engines and mechanical systems to ensure optimum vehicle performance.
Conduct vehicle inspections and road tests to identify faults and verify the quality of completed repairs.
Maintain accurate service records and advise customers on required repairs and ongoing vehicle maintenance.




Ensure all work is completed in accordance with workplace health and safety requirements, manufacturer specifications and workshop quality standards.
Maintain workshop tools, equipment and a clean, safe and organized work environment.
Skills and Experience
Certificate IV in an automotive trade or a higher relevant qualification (or equivalent).
Demonstrated experience of at least 1 year in servicing, maintaining and repairing motor vehicles
Strong knowledge of engine, transmission, steering, suspension and braking systems.
Experience using automotive diagnostic equipment and interpreting manufacturer specifications.
Excellent diagnostic, fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a busy workshop workplace.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
Current Australian Driver License is desirable.
