About the Role:
Make a meaningful difference in the lives of people affected by cancer.
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Social Worker to join our Cancer Supportive Care unit.
This rewarding role provides an opportunity to support patients, families, and carers as they navigate the challenges associated with a cancer diagnosis, treatment, survivorship, and end-of-life care.
As a Senior Social Worker, you will provide high-quality psychosocial assessment, counselling, and care planning services to oncology patients and their support networks.
You will work closely within a multidisciplinary and interprofessional team to deliver holistic, patient-centred care that promotes positive health and wellbeing outcomes.
The successful applicant will have a strong understanding of the emotional, social, practical, and psychological impacts of cancer and demonstrate expertise in supporting individuals and families through adjustment, grief, loss, and bereavement.

Prior to commencing this role, a current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act **** is required.

Comply with CHS credentialing and scope of clinical practice requirements for allied health professionals.
