The Role
We are looking for an experienced Enrolled Nurse to join our Colton Close residential aged care home in Glenroy, home to 89 residents.
This is a casual position, offering flexibility across available shifts.
As an Enrolled Nurse, you will:
Apply clinical skills and up to date knowledge of the aging process to residents within the home
Be responsive to resident's care through tailoring holistic care to meet individual needs
Respect and promote dignity, privacy and confidentiality of each resident at all times
Systematically plan, implement and evaluate care, and oversee accurate and timely documentation
Spend time with the residents to connect, share stories and show empathy
About you
Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse, Division 2
A minimum of 2 years' experience working as an Enrolled Nurse
Previous experience in residential aged care is highly regarded
Strong clinical knowledge and confidence working within your scope of practice
Experience in areas such as medication administration, wound care, continence management,
dementia and behavioural support, infection prevention and clinical documentation
A sound understanding of the aged care legislative framework and relevant compliance requirements
The ability to build genuine relationships with residents, families and team members
A collaborative, respectful and person-centred approach
Good judgement, accountability and the ability to respond appropriately to changes in residents' conditions
NDIS Worker Screening Clearance ID or the ability to obtain one
Availability to work casual shifts, including weekdays, weekends and a range of shift times as required
