Are you an experienced Service Technician with a solid background in air compressors?
We are seeking a highly skilled technician to join a leading industrial organisation servicing customers across manufacturing, heavy industry, mining, utilities, and critical infrastructure sectors.
This is a specialist field-based position focused on the servicing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of centrifugal air compressor systems.
This role is ideally suited to someone who enjoys complex fault-finding, working independently, and building strong customer relationships while delivering high-level technical support.

The Role
Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for servicing and supporting centrifugal air compressor systems across a diverse customer base.
Your responsibilities will include:
Planned maintenance and preventative servicing on centrifugal air compressors
Fault finding and breakdown response
Mechanical repairs and overhauls




Performance testing and commissioning
Technical support and customer consultation
Completing service reports and maintenance documentationEnsuring compliance with safety and operational standards
Proven experience servicing and maintainin air compressors
Trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting, Fitter & Turner, Diesel Mechanic, Electromechanical Trade or similar
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Experience working within industrial or manufacturing environments
Current Australian Driver's Licence
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work autonomously in a field service environment
Highly Regarded:
Experience with high-speed rotating equipment
Commissioning and performance testing experience
Exposure to compressed air system audits and optimisation
