We're looking for a skilled Senior Payroll Officer ready to take on more responsibility, guiding and developing a team of Payroll Officers and Administrators. Reporting to the Group Payroll Operations Manager, you’ll be the key go-to expert, ensuring smooth payroll operations for 16,000+ team members across ANZ.

About the Role
Oversee day-to-day payroll operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across Australia and Recent Zealand.
Coach and develop a high-performing team of Payroll Officers and Administrators—allocating work, mentoring, and supporting their growth.
Manage monthly payroll tax, superannuation & 3rd Party payments with precision.
Stay ahead of legislative updates, ensuring compliance with payroll calculations, terminations, and reporting requirements.
Act as the key contact for all ABS returns and payroll reporting.
Champion process improvements and partner with the Payroll Leadership Team to implement meaningful change.

About You
Proven experience managing payroll in a large,



multi-site business (Australia & ideally NZ), known as the go-to expert in your field.
Strong technical knowledge across payroll tax, superannuation, and long service leave legislation.
An eye for detail and ability to pivot and problem solve on the go
Ability to perform complex reconciliations and deliver outcomes for resolutions and next steps forward
Demonstrated leadership experience—allocating work, managing performance, or ready to take the next step into people leadership.
Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyse data and drive insights.
Experience with Success Factors is an advantage
