Support simulation-based education programs that strengthen clinical skills and workforce capability across Queensland's healthcare system
About the role
The Clinical Nurse Clinical Facilitator – Simulation Coordinator supports the delivery of high-quality simulation-based education and workforce development activities within the Clinical Skills Development Service (CSDS).
The role combines advanced clinical nursing expertise with education and simulation capability development to strengthen interprofessional workforce performance and promote a culture of continuous learning across Metro North Health and Queensland.
The successful candidate will work closely with Simulation Educators and the Assistant Nursing Director to support the design, delivery and evaluation of simulation-based learning programs.
The role also contributes to statewide simulation initiatives, supports educators and simulation coordinators across the CSDS network, and assists in developing innovative education solutions that improve clinical skills, patient safety and healthcare outcomes.
About you
Deliver and support simulation-based education, training and workforce development activities that enhance clinical capability and patient care outcomes.
Provide clinical leadership and expert nursing knowledge while promoting an evidence-based learning environment for healthcare professionals.
Collaborate effectively with Simulation Educators, faculty members and external partners to plan,
develop and deliver high-quality simulation programs.
Support statewide simulation initiatives through the provision of education, guidance and operational support to simulation coordinators and educators.
Participate in research, quality assurance and continuous improvement activities that enhance simulation education and workforce development services.
