Are you ready to shape the next generation of Critical Care Nurses and lead transformative research at a global scale?
Griffith University and Princess Alexandra Hospital are seeking a visionary leader to drive innovation, education, and research in Critical Care Nursing through a prestigious joint appointment.
We invite applications from outstanding critical care nurse leaders for a joint appointment as Associate Professor of Critical Care Nursing (Level D).
This prestigious role will suit a highly regarded academic and clinician who is passionate about advancing critical care nursing research, education and evidence-based practice through strong clinical‐academic collaboration.
This is a full time, fixed term appointment for five (5) years based in Brisbane, split between Griffith University Brisbane South Nathan and Princess Alexandra Hospital.
It is expected that the successful candidate will be available to attend both sites in persona a normal requirement of the role.
Salary RangeThe full time equivalent base salary will be Academic Level D range $172,686 - $190,248 per annum + 17% superannuation.
The total FTE package will be in the range $202,043 - $222,590 per annum.
Qualifications
Possession of a doctoral qualification or equivalent professional experience in nursing or a relevant field.
Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra) as a registered nurse which must be active and maintained for the duration of the appointment.
An extensive track‐record in the ability to attract external competitive research funding, to supervise research students and to build and lead multidisciplinary research teams in Critical Care Nursing.
