About Our ClientOur client was formed through the consolidation of several family-owned businesses into a national enterprise and now delivers a full suite of drilling and blasting services across Australia.
They are currently seeking experienced Mobile Plant Operators to support a large-scale mineral sands rehabilitation project in Mindarie.
About the RoleThis is a 3-4 month contract operating on a 2/1 DIDO roster, working on an open-cut mining rehabilitation project.
Operators will be working with large-scale mining equipment in a safety-critical setting.
What You Will Be Doing
Safely operating mobile plant on a mineral sands site
Operating one or more of the following pending tickets and licenses:
Excavator: Liebherr **** (150t)
Dozer: CAT D10
Grader: CAT 16M
Dump Truck: CAT 777
Watercart
Supporting rehabilitation earthworks and site remediation
Conducting daily pre-starts and equipment checks




Working in accordance with site safety and environmental procedures
What You Will Need
Minimum 1.5 years' mining plant operating experience
Experience in open-cut mining environments
Valid Driver's Licence
RII tickets for machinery
Whitecard
Willingness to complete:
Pre-employment medical
Drug & Alcohol screening
PEM (Pre-Employment Medical)
Ability to commit to the full project duration
Required RII Units of CompetencyOne or more of the following
Excavator: RIIMPO301 or RIIMPO320
Haul Truck: RIIMPO338
Grader: RIIMPO310 or RIIMPO324
Dozer: RIIMPO308
Watercart: RIIMPO206 or RIIMPO326
Please note: RII tickets are mandatory for this role.
