Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and reliableService Technicianto join our close-knit team based in Mitcham.
About the Role
This is a wide-ranging, hands-on role where no two days are the same.
You will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing, preventative maintenance, fault finding, and repair of specialised healthcare equipment across metropolitan and regional Victoria.
As we support healthcare facilities that operate 24/7, the successful applicant must be flexible and willing to work occasional after-hours and weekend shifts, as well as travel throughout Victoria, including overnight stays when required.
Key Responsibilities
Install, commission, service and maintain specialist healthcare equipment.
Carry out preventative maintenance and reactive service work.
Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic and mechanical faults efficiently.
Complete service documentation accurately and professionally.
Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company procedures and WHS requirements.
Deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining strong client relationships.
Manage your workload effectively to meet customer expectations and scheduled timeframes.
Participate in after-hours call-outs, weekend work and travel as required.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Electrical A Grade Licence(essential).
Previous experience in a technical service or field service role (preferred).
Strong electrical, mechanical and fault-finding skills.
Experience using a wide range of hand and power tools.
The ability to safely lift and move equipment.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
The ability to work independently while also contributing to a small, supportive team.
Essential Requirements
Electrical A Grade Licence
Current Australian Driver Licence
Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain)
National Police Check (or ability to obtain)
Construction Induction Card (White Card)
Current COVID-19 and Influenza vaccination records (required to access healthcare facilities)
Ability to complete site-specific inductions for hospitals and healthcare facilities
