About the Role:
GV Health is seeking a Grade 1 or 2 Exercise Physiologist OR Physiotherapist to join the Chronic Pain Clinic working 2 days per fortnight on a fixed term contract from June **** until June ****.
The Chronic Pain Clinic is a continuously developing service for the region with a focus on the assessment, care planning and management of people experiencing persistent pain.
Team members include a medical specialist, clinical psychologist/social worker, physiotherapist, exercise physiologist, dietitian, allied health assistant, enrolled nurse and Clinical Nurse Coordinator.
To perform this role,



you will have broad based clinical experience in the area of assessment and management of people experiencing complex health issues and chronic pain as well as a demonstrated knowledge and understanding of chronic pain service delivery across the health sector.
Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills, an ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team and a well-developed understanding of an evidence-based approach to person-centred care, will be well suited to the role.
Please Note:This role can be combined with the position currently advertised "Exercise Physiologist/Physiotherapist" with the HARP Disease Management Team.
If combined this would provide the successful candidate with full time work across the two programs.
