We are seeking a friendly, organised, and professional Medical Receptionist to join our team in a full-time role.
As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play an integral role in creating a welcoming experience for our patients while supporting the day-to-day administration of our busy practice.
About the Role
Responsibilities include:
Front desk duties including greeting patients and providing exceptional customer service.
Appointment bookings and management
Answering telephone and email enquiries
Entering and managing accurate patient records
Processing referrals and correspondence
Handling payments and receipting
Processing Medicare and private health fund claims
Providing general administrative support to the team
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:




Previous medical reception or medical administration experience (essential)
Previous Gentu experience (desired)
Excellent telephone manner and professional email communication skills, with strong attention to written presentation
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment,
A warm, friendly, and approachable manner with a genuine desire to provide exceptional patient care
Confident using computers and learning new systems
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Full working rights in Australia and able to work full time
