Requirements to Drive a Taxi for Legion Cabs
A valid Australian driver's licence (full licence held for at least 12 months)
Be at least 20 years old
A clean driving record (Criminal Background Check)
ABN number (must be registered for GST)
Submission of required identification documents
Passenger Transport Licence Code
Applying for the Passenger Transport Licence Code (T Condition)
Eligibility to become a Taxi Driver in NSW
Have held an Australian driver licence for a total of at least 12 months in the previous four years
Hold an unrestricted NSW driver licence
Be at least 20 years old
Be medically fit to drive a passenger transport vehicle
If required, complete an English language test of conversational English

Visit your local Service NSW and request to complete an Application to become a Point to Point Transport Passenger Vehicle Driver to obtain a Passenger Transport Licence Code
Obtain two copies of your driving history from NSW Services
