Geelong Restaurant Group is seeking an experiencedSenior Wait Staffto join our team at our restaurants - Eileen's Charcoal Grill and Two Noble located in Newtown VIC ****.
We have bothfull-time and casual position available.
As Senior Wait Staff, you will be responsible for leading front-of-house operations, setting service standards, and ensuring every guest leaves with a memorable dining experience.
This role is integral to maintaining our reputation for excellence and contributing to the overall success of our establishment.
Key responsibilities
Provide attentive, professional and courteous service to all guests, ensuring their dining experience exceeds expectations
Serve food and beverages with professionalism, presenting items correctly and accommodating any special dietary requirements
Manage table assignments and guest flow to optimise seating efficiency and service quality
Handle guest inquiries, complaints and special requests with discretion and resolve issues promptly and professionally
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables, chairs and service stations
Process payments accurately and provide excellent customer service during the billing process
Contribute to a positive team environment and support colleagues during service periods
What we're looking for
Minimum 2 years' experience in a wait staff or front-of-house role within a hospitality setting, preferably in a full-service restaurant
Proven leadership experience with the ability to train,



motivate and support junior team members
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service
Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards, including wine and cocktail offerings
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining attention to detail
Physical capability to stand for extended periods and carry trays and plates safely
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends, evenings and public holidays
Professional appearance and a friendly, welcoming demeanour
