Salary Range Band 8 $134,011 to $150,181 plus 12% Super

About the Role
Lead high-quality Family Services, Youth Services and Middle Years programs that support children, young people and families to thrive.
Drive service excellence through strong governance, strategic planning, continuous improvement and evidence-informed practice.
Build strong partnerships across government, community organisations and the broader human services sector to deliver integrated and responsive services.
Reporting to the Manager Family Youth and Children, you will lead and support three Team Leaders and provide strategic and operational leadership across a diverse portfolio of services that have a direct impact on community wellbeing.
This is a rewarding opportunity to lead experienced teams, shape service improvement, influence organisational priorities and help ensure children, young people and families receive the support they need at every stage of their journey.




Duties
Lead and manage service systems to deliver integrated, high-quality programs.
Oversee compliance with legislation, standards, and clinical governance frameworks.
Develop and implement service strategies, policies and improvement initiatives.
Coach and support Team Leaders to manage performance and build workforce capability.
Contribute to departmental leadership, planning and cross-organisational initiatives.
Skills and Experience
Extensive experience leading complex family, youth or community services
Strong knowledge of legislative, funding compliance and governance frameworks
Proven ability to lead leaders and develop high-performing teams
Demonstrated experience managing budgets, resources and organisational change
Relevant tertiary qualification in social work, psychology, youth work, community development or related discipline
