As a Team Leader, you will play a key role in leading the delivery of Aspire's Accommodation and Assisted School Travel services.
You will provide day-to-day leadership and support to a team of Support Workers and Drivers, ensuring services are delivered safely, effectively and in line with customer needs.
Through strong leadership, workforce coordination and stakeholder engagement, you will help drive positive, person-centred outcomes for customers and students.
This is a full-time position based in Albury.
Travel within the Albury/Wodonga region may be required to support customer engagement and service delivery in the Assisted School Travel program.
Flexibility to work outside standard business hours is required to participate in the on-call roster.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate the day-to-day delivery of Accommodation and Assisted School Travel services, ensuring safe, compliant and person-centred outcomes.
Provide leadership, coaching and support to a team of Support Workers and Drivers, fostering a positive and collaborative team culture.
Coordinate workforce planning activities, including recruitment, onboarding, rostering and staff development.
Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, families, carers, schools and other key stakeholders.
Support customer intake, transitions and ongoing service delivery to ensure positive customer experiences and outcomes.
Monitor compliance with NDIS, departmental, legislative and organisational requirements, including reporting and training obligations.
Maintain accurate customer, workforce and service records, including Support Plans, Risk Assessments and driver documentation.
Respond to incidents, risks and service issues, supporting investigations and implementing improvement actions where required.
Coordinate operational administration including fleet maintenance, payroll processing, leave approvals and timesheet management.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and participate in the on-call roster to support operational requirements.
What you'll bring:
Minimum Certificate IV qualifications in Community Services, Disability or Leadershipand/or demonstrated leadership experience.
Proven people leadership, coaching and team development skills.
Experience in rostering,
workforce coordination and performance management.
Sound understanding of the NDIS, person-centred practice and supporting positive customer outcomes.
Ability to build strong relationships with customers, families, carers and key stakeholders.
Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
Sound computer literacy, knowledge of HR principles and a resilient, adaptable approach to work.
Compliance ready: NDIS Worker Screening Check,NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
Current First Aid and CPRCertificate (Provide First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011)
Successful Assisted School Travel application (which includes police check, fit to drive medical clearance, Working with Childrens Check (NSW), clear driving record)
