The opportunity
We're looking for an APS6 DevOps Engineer to uplift CI/CD, automation and observability across enterprise platforms.
You'll work in a modern delivery environment where reliability, deployment quality, and fast feedback loops matter-supporting teams to release safely and consistently.
What you'll do (DevOps focus)
Build, improve and maintainCI/CD pipelines(build/test/deploy) with a focus on reliability and repeatability
Drivedeployment automationand reduce manual release overhead
Implement and maintainmonitoring dashboardsand operational metrics (performance, availability, user metrics)
Troubleshoot pipeline and environment issues; improveincident resolutionthrough better tooling and automation




Develop scripts/tools to streamline engineering workflows and reduce operational toil
Support API delivery and integration with engineering tooling (GitLab)
Must-have skills
Strong hands-on experience withGitLabincludingGitLab CI/CDin anenterprise environment(pipelines, runners, build/deploy, monitoring)
Strong DevOps capability acrossCI/CD, automation, deployment, monitoring/observability
Commercial experience withNode.js + TypeScript
Pythonexperience (automation/scripting and/or backend)
Experience withJiraand up-to-date developer tooling (e.g., VS Code)
Clear communicator-able to collaborate with engineers and stakeholders
Nice to have
GitLab pipeline optimisation and governance (templates, reusable components, quality gates)
Experience with advanced automation approaches (e.g., intelligent CI/CD workflows)
