About the role:
Are you mechanically minded, enjoy working with your hands, and want to build a long-term career in engineering?
This is an exciting chance to undertake a Certificate III in Engineering (Fitting & Machining) through a hands-on apprenticeship with a well-established manufacturer based in Winchelsea.
Working alongside experienced tradespeople, you'll gain practical skills across machining, hydraulics, machine assembly and workshop operations while earning a nationally recognised qualification.
What You'll Learn:
Read and interpret drawings and specifications
Operate machinery
Exposure to machining, hydraulics and fabrication
Use precision measuring equipment
Manufacture and finish components to required tolerances
Perform fitting, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair work

Manufacture and finish components to required tolerances
Assemble machinery
Perform fitting, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair work
What We're Looking For:
Genuine interest in engineering and machinery
Mechanically minded
Reliable, punctual and hardworking
Able to follow instructions and work effectively in a team
Comfortable with maths, measurements and problem-solving
Safety-focused
Current driver's licence
An interest in agriculture or farm machinery, as well as previous workshop, mechanical or hands-on experience desirable, but not essential.
This is a full-time apprenticeship, working 38 hours per week (including trade school), with overtime available when required.
