Job Description
We are seeking a highly organised and people-focused Injury Management & Return to Work Coordinator to join our Health, Safety & Wellbeing team.
Reporting to the Wellbeing & Return to Work Partner,



this role will support the delivery of effective injury management and workers compensation processes across the business.
You will coordinate return-to-work activities, manage claims administration, support compliance obligations and help drive positive recovery and wellbeing outcomes for team members.
This role provides exposure to all Australian Workers Compensation schemes across a diverse range of businesses in retail, trade, service and supply chain operations.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in injury management, workers compensation administration or return-to-work coordination, or for someone looking to take the next step and build a career in injury management and workplace wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and support return-to-work cases, ensuring activities are completed in line with legislative and company requirements
Prepare and manage workers compensation claim documentation, including medical certificates, wage information and supporting records
Monitor claim progress, maintain case records and raise risks or concerns where required
Support the development and implementation of Return-to-Work plans and early intervention initiatives
Act as a key liaison between employees, leaders, People & Culture, Payroll, insurers and rehabilitation providers
Maintain accurate records and reporting within injury management systems, ensuring compliance and data integrity
Support wellbeing initiatives and assist with the delivery of employee wellbeing programs across the business
Assist with reporting,



compliance monitoring and continuous improvement activities within the RTW function
Qualifications
You are an empathetic and detail-oriented professional who is passionate about supporting employees through the return-to-work process.
You will bring:
Relevant qualification or equivalent experience in injury management, return to work, claims management, allied health or a related field.
Experience in return-to-work coordination, injury management, workers compensation administration or a related field
Knowledge of workers compensation legislation and injury management principles
Strong administrative and case management skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
High attention to detail and data accuracy
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
A collaborative and customer-focused approach
