2nd-4th year Apprentice Roof plumber & qualified roof plumbers
The team at PRO-TIN Metal Roofing is currently looking for a 2nd-4th year Apprentice Roof Plumber & qualified roof plumbers to join out team .
This full time role is based in Frankston, VIC and works all over south east Melbourne and peninsula and provides hands-on training and development to become a qualified roof plumber, or continue honing you skills as a qualified roof plumber , You will work alongside experienced professionals to learn all aspects of roof plumbing, from installation of multi unit sites to maintenance.
What you'll be doing
Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of metal roofing systems
Learn how to properly measure, cut, and fit roofing materials
Gain experience in the safe use of power tools and equipment
Develop an understanding of relevant building codes and regulations
Support senior plumbers with a variety of roof plumbing tasks
Participate in on-the-job training and attend relevant courses
managing a team (4th years & up )
problem solving
training apprentices ( 4th years & up
installation of metal cladding systems
What we're looking for
own licence is a must
own vehicle a must or able to get to Frankston by 6am
punctuality
own tools is a must
Demonstrated interest and passion for the trades industry
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Physical fitness to perform the duties of the role
great work ethic
able to read plans and install metal roof to australian standards without supervision ( 4th year & up )
