Hair Colosseum is seeking an experienced and creative Senior Hairstylist to join our team in Shellharbour, NSW.
This is a full-time or part time position offering an immediate start for a talented professional ready to make an impact in our dynamic salon environment.
As a Senior Hairstylist, you will be at the forefront of delivering exceptional hair services to our valued clients, setting the standard for quality, creativity and customer care within our salon.

What you'll be doing
Provide expert hair cutting, colouring, styling and treatment services to a diverse clientele
Consult with clients to understand their requirements, preferences and hair care needs, offering professional recommendations
Maintain the highest standards of hygiene, safety and salon practices at all times
Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage loyalty and repeat bookings
Mentor and support junior stylists, sharing knowledge and best practices to foster team development
Stay current with the latest hair trends, techniques and industry developments through ongoing professional development
Manage client bookings efficiently and ensure seamless appointment scheduling
Maintain and care for all salon equipment and tools in accordance with health and safety standards
Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment that reflects Hair Colosseum's values
What we're looking for
Minimum 5 years' professional experience as a hairstylist with a strong portfolio demonstrating technical expertise and creative flair
Formal qualifications in hairdressing or cosmetology from a recognised training provider




Advanced proficiency in a wide range of hair services including cutting, colouring, styling, treatments and chemical processes
Excellent knowledge of current hair trends, techniques and products within the beauty industry
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members
A passion for delivering outstanding customer service and exceeding client expectations
Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Professional attitude with strong attention to detail and a commitment to salon standards
Reliability, punctuality and a positive approach to work
Experience mentoring junior staff or working in a senior capacity is highly desirable
