Claims Consultant - Restoration Industry (Insurance)
Amtec Disaster Recovery specialises in assisting homeowners and business owners recovering after disasters such as fire, mould and water damages, etc.
Our role is to get homeowners and businesses back on their feet as quickly as possible.
We are looking for a Customer Service oriented administrator with a positive 'Can Do' attitude to join our Team.
We believe the right candidate will have an ability to maintain their composure under pressure and solid administrative and Customer Service skills.
Primary Objective
Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of services required for client management claims
Maintain quality service by establishing and governing Amtec standards
Manage and monitor the duration of appointed claims to ensure we are achieving results in meeting and improving our SLA's requirements and claim life
Troubleshoot problems, advise clients and update colleagues on actions taken
Position Responsibilities
Prepare reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising information
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Research questions using available information resources
Log all client advice and interactions in the company data base
Effectively manage your day to day activities within the office
Manage and maintain relationships with clients and all company stakeholders
Effectively handle queries and complaints via phone, email, and general correspondence
Diagnose and resolve client issues as required and elevate situations requiring urgent attention
On Call Roster for Emergency Make Safe Claims – Bonus applies
You will have:
Professional communication skills both verbal and written – must be fluent in speaking and writing English
Be able to work in a team while also being able to work autonomously
Ability to multitask, time-manage and prioritise work priorities
High attention to detail
Be available Mon – Fri for an 8 hour shift
Previous experience in Insurance is desirable, but not essential
Experience in Administration (minimum of 2+ years)
Advantages that will be looked on favourably, experience with:
Office 365 Suite Software, including: Outlook, Word and Excel
Coordinating and scheduling of staff/trades/contractors for small or large projects with insurance home claims
