Shri Maha Varahi Pty Ltd (Trading as a Curry Point Bell Park) is seeking an experienced Chef to join our team in Geelong, VIC.
As a full-time Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of delicious meals for our guests, ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation.
What you'll be doing
Preparing and cooking a range of dishes from our diverse menu, ensuring consistency and quality when required
Planning Menu
Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations
Collaborating with the kitchen team to develop current menu items and improve existing recipes
Providing excellent customer service and working closely with front-of-house staff
Monitoring stock levels and placing orders for necessary ingredients
Assisting with kitchen management tasks as required
Explaining and enforcing hygiene
Making sure the food is prepared according to dietary requirements and raise and resolve any issues in preparation
estimate food and labour costs while ordering food supplies
Preserve and Maintain foods in freezer.
What we're looking for
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Chef in a hospitality or tourism setting with knowledge and working on Indian dishes.




Certificate IV Commercial cookery / Diploma in Hospitality qualification
Strong culinary skills and knowledge of a variety of cooking techniques
Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards
Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with colleagues
Food safety and hygiene certification
Ability to work on week ends
