About the role
As an
HSE Coordinator
, you serve as a specialist consultant providing support to Operations Sites, HSE Manager, Quality Function, and the national business as required. Provide support to the line management teams, . Monitor compliance with all applicable government legislation/ regulations/ permits/ approvals/ consents as the minimum requirement for all BOC activities and support and drive sites to achieve improvements, develop compliance programs/systems.

key responsibilities
will include:
Support safety performance across Major Hazard Facilities (MHF)
Monitor and review critical safety controls
Conduct risk assessments and support hazard identification activities
Assist in the development and maintenance of Safety Cases
Partner with site teams to embed safe work practices
Support MHF audits and regulatory interactions
Ensure compliance with legislation, permits, and approvals
Contribute to continuous improvement of HSE systems and processes
To be considered for this role
At least 3 years' experience in HSE,
ideally within chemical, manufacturing, FMCG, or similar environments
Relevant tertiary qualifications in science, engineering, or a related discipline (preferred), with formal HSE qualification or equivalent experience
Strong understanding of risk management, safety systems, and regulatory compliance
Experience in incident investigation methodologies (e.g. ICAM, MORT, Causal Tree) desirable
Audit experience, with Lead Auditor certification (ISO**** and/or HSE) desirable
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence operational teams
Willingness to travel across Victoria and Tasmaniaand an understanding of the legislative requirements
