About the Position:
Cochrane's Transport is currently seeking a reliable and hardworkingFreight Handlers to join our team at our Gillman depot on a casual basis.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‐on work in a fast‐paced logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Loading and unloading freight from trucks and trailers
Sorting and staging freight for dispatch
Operating pallet jacks and forklifts (desirable)




Ensuring freight is handled safely and efficiently
Maintaining a clean and organised work area
Following all workplace health and safety procedures
About you:
Strong work ethic and reliability
Ability to perform manual handling tasks and lift heavy items
Good attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Forklift license (preferred but not essential)
Previous experience in freight handling or warehousing (advantageous)
