We are seeking an experienced and motivatedCentre Director / Nominated Supervisorto lead our service from opening and play a key role in building a strong, positive foundation from day one.
About the Role
As the Centre Director / Nominated Supervisor, you will be instrumental in thesuccessful opening and ongoing leadershipof the service.
Working in partnership with the Approved Provider and Area Manager, you will guide daily operations, embed high-quality practice, and ensure compliance while creating a thriving and inclusive early learning environment aligned with our values.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operation and administration of the service, acting as the Nominated Supervisor
Establish and maintain positive, professional relationships with families and the local community
Ensure the service meets all requirements of theNQS, EYLF, WHS, and relevant legislation
Coordinate and lead continuous improvement processes, including the development and review of theQuality Improvement Plan (QIP)
Manage staffing arrangements, resourcing,



and budgets to support effective service delivery
Create a supportive, inclusive, and high-performing team environment
Mentor, coach, and support educators to strengthen practice and professional growth
About You
You are a confident and capable early childhood leader who is passionate about quality education, strong relationships, and building a positive workplace culture.
You enjoy leading teams, managing compliance, and contributing to the successful establishment and growth of a new service.
ACECQA-approved Diploma or Teaching Degree in Early Childhood Education
Proven experience in a leadership or management role within an early childhood setting (experience as a Director or Nominated Supervisor highly regarded)
Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Standard (NQS), and National Law and Regulations, with demonstrated experience contributing to or leading a Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) within an Early Childhood setting
Ability to lead, support, and develop teams through effective communication and guidance
High-level written and verbal communication skills
Strong computer literacy and confidence with administrative systems
CurrentFirst Aid, CPR, Child Protection, Child Safe Training, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates
CurrentWorking with Children CheckandPolice Check
