A well-established packaging manufacturer is seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join its maintenance team.
This is a permanent chance offering a secure day shift, with an occasional afternoon shift when required.
The Role
Preventative and breakdown maintenance on production machinery
Fault finding and mechanical repairs
Maintain conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes and pneumatic systems
Support machinery upgrades and continuous improvement
Work closely with production to maximise equipment reliability
About You
Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter/Fitter & Turner
Maintenance experience within manufacturing, packaging or FMCG
Strong mechanical fault-finding skills
Safety-focused with a proactive approach
Happy to work the occasional afternoon shift
