Job responsibilities include:
Reading drawings and specifications to determine the correct set-up process and welding processes.
Understanding the industry standards and requirements.
Ensure the quality and accuracy of fabricated members.
Working with hand tools such as hammers, chisels, measuring tools, weld gauges...
Working with power tools such as buffing wheels, drills, polishers, and grinders.
Aligning parts to be joined using hand tools and measuring instruments.
Welding withGMAW and FCAWwelding, oxyacetylene cutting equipment and plasma cutting equipment.
Implementing the WHS procedures that are required to complete a job safely, including the use of the required (PPE)personal protective equipment for the job.
Maintain a clean and safe working workplace.
Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Ability to work independently.
Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
