Provide urgent medical care to newborns through to adolescents
The RCH currently has Registered Nurse opportunities available in the Operating Theatres Scrub/Scout role.
Our 14 theatres care for over 16,000 patients per year across many surgical specialties.
You will be responsible for providing comprehensive, safe, evidence-based practice across a range of contexts, to facilitate optimal health outcomes;performing self- assessment of scope of practice and competence related to assigned responsibilities as discussed with the care delivery team; retaining responsibility for individual actions and accountability for care provided.
Classification for this role will be YP3-YP9 ($86,580 - $107,510per annum pro rata plus superannuation)
Your skills and experience:
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) administered though the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Demonstrated commitment to ongoing personal and professional development, as evidenced in a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) record/Professional Practice Portfolio (PPP).
Recent experience inthe periopspeciality area of nursing.
Recent scrub/scout Paediatric experience.
