The Team & RoleThe Registered Nurse (RN) is a valued and integral member of the Peninsula Health multidisciplinary team demonstrating flexibility in caring for patients and their families across the organisation.
The RN works competently within their scope of practice to deliver safe, evidence based person centred care to achieve optimal health outcomes or a dignified death.Our Team in the Operating Suite works with passion to deliver world class healthcare for the local community.
Our nursing teams work in streams including Day of Admission (DOSA), Anaesthetics, PACU, Endoscopy and Scrub Scout.
Our Operating Rooms provide a service for a variety of craft groups.
Specialities across our sites include: ENT, thoracic, vascular, plastic, facio maxillary, orthopaedic, urology, general surgery,



endoscopy, obstetrics and gynaecology and emergency surgery.
There is an element of paediatric surgery in ENT, plastic, orthopaedic and general surgery.
Skills & Experience Required
Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
Completion of a graduate year program.
At least 5 years recent clinical experience in Perioperative Nursing (Endoscopy, Anaesthetics, PACU, Scrub Scout)
Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Able to use basic computer software applications.
