We're partnering with a well-respected organisation to recruit a Business
Compliance Officer for an approximately 4-month contract.
This is a unique prospect for someone who enjoys balancing field work with administration, building strong customer relationships and ensuring compliance across wastewater and recycled water services.
The role supports trade wastewater compliance, customer engagement and risk management activities.
About the Role
Working as part of a collaborative team, you'll spend around 50% of your time on client sites conducting inspections, completing compliance and WHS assessments, engaging with customers and gathering information to support compliance outcomes.
The remainder of your time will be office-based, preparing reports, managing documentation and following up with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct site inspections and compliance assessments
Engage directly with commercial customers and stakeholders
Gather and document site information accurately
Prepare reports and maintain compliance records
Assist with ongoing improvement of customer compliance programs

About You
You'll be someone who enjoys working with people, is naturally curious and has an eye for detail.
You'll ideally bring:
Experience in compliance, inspections, field services or customer-facing operational roles
Robust communication and relationship-building skills
Confidence working independently across both office and field environments
Excellent organisational and report writing skills
Sound computer skills and attention to detail
A current driver's licence
Highly regarded
Plumbing, drainage or wastewater industry experience
Knowledge of trade wastewater, water utilities or environmental compliance
