Great Southern Hotel Melbourne (GSH-Melbourne)
is a 4 Star hotel located in the heart of Melbourne CBD. We are currently seeking an experienced Housekeeping Hotel Room Attendant on a casual basis to join our team. You must take pride in your work and be willing to go that "extra mile" to make our guest's stay an enjoyable one. This is a physically demanding role that requires an energetic and enthusiastic person who is ready and willing to work as part of a team.
About the role:
As our Room Attendant, your responsibilities will include:
servicing and cleaning allocated guest rooms
stocking and maintaining the housekeeping trolley
handling all amenities, chemicals, and equipment according to specific instructions and OH&S; standards and undertaking special cleaning projects as directed
About you:
The successful candidate must:
Be self-motivated and be able to work unsupervised




Be adaptable and available for work across a 7-day roster with an early morning shift or evening shift.
Have knowledge and understanding of basic hygiene requirements and safe working procedures
Be committed to providing extraordinary service
Have good communication and interpersonal skills
Previous experience in a 3 to 4 hotel establishment is highly advantageous
Have a minimum of 1+ years of housekeeping experience
Hold a valid work visa or appropriate Australian work rights
