A well-established accounting practice with over 60 years in operation is seeking a reliable and personable Bookkeeper.
This role combines bookkeeping responsibilities with general administrative support, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day.
The CPA firm is small, relaxed, and friendly, located in the Doncaster East area.
They provide accounting, tax, and strategic financial advice to individuals and businesses in Manningham and surrounding communities.
This is a temporary role commencing immediately for a minimum of six weeks.
The role will be Monday to Friday, 9 – 5PM with the possibility to become permanent.
The client will consider school hours or four days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts payable and accounts receivable
Bank reconciliations
Generating financial reports including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, ledgers
Assisting with the preparation and collation of tax return documentation
Receipting payments using XPM
Maintaining accurate client records and databases
Filing and document management
About You:
Previous experience in an administrative role within apublic practice accounting firm (essential)
Proficient withXPM, ATOmate, Microsoft Office
Competent with DocuSign, Xero Sign, or similar software
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Confident communicator with a professional and friendly manner
Comfortable working in a small team environment
Friendly and supportive team culture
In office parking
Potential for a permanent position
