In this role, you'll:
Operate Light and Medium Rigid vehicles (with a GVM of greater than 4.5 tonnes) as an MR Truck Driver for the Maintenance & Delivery team
Tow any trailers that their vehicle is rated to tow
Carry out bridge worker labouring duties when not operating the truck
In addition to the above, the trucks operated by this position may include water tankers and Flocon Trucks (asphalt transport)
Work collaboratively with the team including Team Leaders and Works Supervisors to manage the day-to-day operations and tasks as well as resolve issues that may arise
Keep up to date with WHS legislation and policies and procedures as it relates to minimising risk and keeping to safe work standards
Work a 9 Day Fortnight

About You:
We are looking for experienced Truck Drivers who has the capability to work under limited supervision and has experience in maintaining a safe and injury free workplace for all employees while operating in a high speed, high traffic volume setting.
Essential Licenses and Tickets:
Current Construction Industry White Card
Willingness to undertake any legislated or internal licensing or ticketing requirements as directed
While not essential experience operating small plant and equipment, and operating a truck mounted attenuator/crane and relevant crane tickets would be highly regarded
We take WH&S; and the management of fatigue of our employees seriously.
Therefore, to be successful in this role it is a requirement that you must reside within a 100km distance from the Wagga Wagga depot
