Build More Than Solar Systems. Build a Division.
Most solar electrician roles ask you to install systems.
This role asks you to help build the team, standards, systems and culture behind them.
Amazing Solar Solutions is a growing Victorian solar and battery company with a robust project pipeline across residential and commercial markets.
For years, we have delivered projects through contractor networks. Having worked with more than 30 installation teams, we know exactly what separates average operators from exceptional ones.
We are now building our own in-house installation division.
We are looking for a high-performing
Lead Solar & Battery Electrician
to help us build it.
Why This Role Is Different
This is not a site supervisor role. This is not a project manager role. This is not a desk job.
You will remain hands-on and actively involved in installations while helping build Amazing Solar's internal installation capability.
You will personally lead approximately
3-4 installations per week
, mentor apprentices, improve workmanship standards, develop systems and help build




two high-performing in-house installation crews
over the next 12 months.

What You'll Be Responsible For
Leading residential and commercial solar installations
Installing and commissioning battery systems and hybrid inverters
Performing switchboard upgrades, testing and fault finding
Mentoring apprentices and junior team members
Recruiting and helping develop future installation crews
Improving installation quality and consistency
Creating SOPs, QA processes and installation standards
Supporting safety, compliance and operational excellence
Helping build Amazing Solar's first two internal installation crews
What Success Looks Like
Within your first
12 months
, you will have helped:
Build and mentor two high-performing installation crews
Establish installation standards and QA systems
Develop apprentices and future electricians
Improve workmanship quality and customer experience
Reduce defects, rework and warranty issues
Create a scalable installation platform that supports future growth
About You
You are an experienced solar electrician who takes pride in quality workmanship and enjoys developing people.




You will ideally have:
Victorian A-Grade Electrical Licence
Minimum 3 years solar installation experience
Battery installation experience
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic capability
Experience leading, mentoring or supervising others
Strong communication and organisational skills
Professional attitude and pride in workmanship
Highly Regarded
SAA Accreditation
Commercial solar experience
EV charger experience
Experience developing procedures, standards or quality systems
Experience recruiting or training apprentices
