About the role
The Grade 3 Senior Neuropsychologist will be responsible for providing clinical neuropsychology services predominantly to the Central and Outer East Continuing Care Teams (CCT), Mobile Support Team Services (MSTS), Inpatient Units and Community Care Units (CCU).
Services to be provided include neuropsychological assessment, clinical supervision to more junior neuropsychological staff and post graduate students, consultation to other staff and programs, education to consumers and carers, and management including behavioural intervention.
The Grade 3 Senior Neuropsychologist will deliver a responsive, evidence-based service, be experienced in working within a multidisciplinary team and to work well under time pressure.
About you
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following:
Qualifications and experience as specified in the position description as a Neuropsychologist with appropriate registration.
Experience in community mentalhealth practice, including discipline-specific practices.
Demonstrated commitment to and ability topractice utilising the recovery approach in mental health treatment and support with a focus on working collaboratively with consumers and carers topromote self-determination and enable progress towards reaching personal recovery goals.
Well-developed interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills.
A strong commitment to high-quality care.
The ability to work as partof a diverse team.
Flexible and agile in responding to operational and clinical challenges and complexity,



focusing onsupporting consumers and their families/carers to address their goals intheir recovery journey.
Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice).
Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
