What you'll do
Execute comprehensive market and competitive intelligence tasks independently, including research, data synthesis, and preparation of high-level presentations.
Evaluate scientific literature, clinical research, and market dynamics to extract significant insights and strategic recommendations.
Create and manage organized datasets, dashboards, and tools to facilitate intelligence gathering and data visualization.
Present findings effectively to various stakeholders to ensure alignment on strategic objectives.
Assist in broader strategic efforts, including evaluations for business development, portfolio strategy, and operational planning.
Identify and implement improvements to processes, integrating AI and machine learning tools into market intelligence workflows.
Requirements




A PhD is highly preferred; a Master's degree in a life sciences field (such as biology, biochemistry, chemistry, or biomedical engineering) is mandatory.
Familiarity with the life sciences and biopharmaceutical sectors, particularly in drug discovery and commercialization processes.
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for distilling complex information into transparent insights.
Strong attention to detail and dedication to producing high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with programming, data science, or AI/ML tools is advantageous.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proactive and collaborative mindset.
Skills & tools
Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools.
Familiarity with market intelligence methodologies and competitive analysis frameworks.
Knowledge of AI and machine learning applications in market research is a plus.
Practical notes
The compensation for this position ranges from $35 to $45 per hour. This internship is a temporary engagement and does not include health and welfare benefits. Retirement benefits may be available after a specified number of hours worked. The salary and benefits details are based on current estimates and may change in the future.
