About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced registered nurse to provide care for Eastern Health patients outside hospital walls.
HITH manages a range of patients including surgical, medical and specialty medicine. You will be providing care in the patient's home, via telehealth and within the HITH clinic at Maroondah Hospital.
The position requires you to be an enthusiastic team player, who is highly resourceful, has strong time management and excellent communication skills, experience in assessment,interdisciplinarycare provision and the ability toassistin dischargeplanningfor this patient population.
About you
To be successful in this role you will possess:
Current nursingregistration with AHPRA
Current VictorianDrivers Licence - without restriction
Current WorkingwithChildren Check
Minimum 5 years acute medical/surgical post registration nursing experienceor nursing specialty equivalente.g.ED/CCU/Oncology/Renal
Demonstrated initiative and self-direction
Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience
A strong commitment to high quality care
The ability to work as part of a diverse team
Excellent communication and organisational skills




Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the. Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
Those that are offered and/or start between January and April do not require an up to date vaccination for Influenza to progress providing they are aware of its requirement later in the year. Those that are offered and/or start between May and December require the up to date Influenza vaccination prior to offer.
