The purpose of this role
As part of our commitment to delivering exceptional customer service, we're growing our network of Visa Medical Assessment Centres so we can provide a Bupa experience for our visa applicants in the communities where they live. This has created a range of frontline and leadership roles in recent purpose-built medical centres and opportunities to grow your career with a global health care brand where our customers are at the heart of everything we do.
Experienced pathology collectors, with a minimum of 6 months experience in high volume venepuncture collections. We have a full-time and casual role on offer. Shifts available on a rotational roster, with typical centre hours from 8am-6pm Monday to Friday. During peak seasons, we open 7am-7pm Monday to Friday and weekends from 8am to 4pm during peak seasons
The casual position

What you'll need to make it possible
Reporting to and supported by the Senior Health Assessor, Pathology Collectors/Health Assessors will be responsible for providing quality health assessments to customers undertaking a medical assessment as part of their visa application process.
The role includes:
Identity checks, blood pressure, height, weight, body mass index, vision testing, urinalysis, and venepuncture
Facilitate smooth delivery of the applicants through the medical assessment to ensure a timely and accurate service
Adhere to clinical governance and associated policies and procedures
Accurate documentation of results in eHealth record
What you'll need to make it possible
Certificate III or IV in Pathology
or
2+ years' experience at a NATA accredited service provider
Fast paced phlebotomy experience essential
Experience working with people of multi-cultural background
