Dallas Primary Campus

About the Role
As the Counsellor, you will:
Provide individual and small-group counselling to primary students.
Support student wellbeing through early intervention and preventative programs.
Work collaboratively with teachers, leadership, and families to promote positive student outcomes.
Assist with wellbeing initiatives, behaviour support, and crisis response where required.
Maintain accurate case notes and ensure confidentiality in accordance with professional standards.
Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and supportive school environment.
About You
The successful applicant will have:
Relevant qualifications in Counselling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related discipline.
Experience working with children and young people, preferably within an educational setting.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.




A strong understanding of child development, mental health, and student wellbeing.
A commitment to the Islamic ethos and values of Ilim College.
