About The Opportunity
Join Bundaberg Regional Council's Financial Operations team in this exciting 6-month temporary opportunity. As the Purchasing Review Officer, you will provide vital support across Council's
Procurement and Contracts
processes, ensuring purchasing activities are efficient, compliant, and customer-focused. The role works closely with Council staff, suppliers, and key stakeholders to provide procurement advice, manage purchase orders and requisitions, support system improvements, deliver procurement training, and monitor procurement performance. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and relationship-focused professional with experience in purchasing, procurement administration, or accounts processes to contribute to continuous improvement across Council's procurement operations.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following key selection criteria:
Demonstrated experience working with Procure to Pay (P2P) processes within a business workplace.
Proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal customers, stakeholders, suppliers, and external organisations.
Experience coordinating workflows, managing competing priorities, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced workplace.
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Experience providing confidential, customer-focused, high-quality administrative support.
Sound literacy, numeracy and computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Well-developed verbal and written communication skills, with a strong focus on customer service.
