Ausroads Traffic Management PTY LTD' is seeking experienced Traffic Controllers and Team Leaders to join our team in Melbourne. As a casual member of our Trades & Services team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of traffic management on various worksites across the city.
Key responsibilities
Controlling and directing traffic flow at construction sites, events, and other locations as required
Implementing and maintaining traffic management plans to keep workers and the public safe
Operating traffic control devices such as stop/slow bats, cones, and signage
Liaising with clients, authorities, and team members to coordinate traffic management activities
Monitoring and adjusting traffic control measures as needed to respond to changing conditions
Providing on-site supervision and support to traffic control team members
What we're looking for
Previous experience as a Traffic Controller or Team Leader in the Trades & Services industry
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with various stakeholders
Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure to meet deadlines
Knowledge of relevant traffic management regulations and safety procedures
Current traffic control qualifications and licences (e.g. Traffic Controller, Stop/Slow Bat)
Flexibility to work a casual schedule, including nights, weekends, and public holidays as required
