Support Worker Needed, Lane Cove West NSW
True Embrace is an NDIS Core Supports provider based in Sydney, and we're looking for a warm, reliable Support Worker to join our team supporting one of our participants, Marusha (Ru), in the Lane Cove West area.
About the role:
You'll be providing one on one support to Ru, a sweet and lovely young woman with cerebral palsy, who loves having a chat and building a genuine connection with the people who support her. Your role will include daily activities, community access, personal care, showering support, and moving and positioning support. Full training on showering and moving and positioning will be provided on your first shift, so you don't need prior experience in this specific area, but you do need to be comfortable and confident with this type of hands on, personal support.




Shifts are flexible and can vary week to week, so this role would suit someone looking for adaptable hours.
What we're looking for:
A kind, compassionate, and competent approach to support work
Someone who genuinely enjoys connecting with people and having a chat
Comfortable and confident providing personal care, showering support, and manual handling (training provided)
Experience with medication prompting, or comfortable learning this as part of the role
A valid driver's licence and reliable transport
