We're looking for a
technically minded and commercially savvy Product Developer
who enjoys working end-to-end across product development and thrives in a fast-paced retail setting. This is a great opportunity to build expertise in a specialised space while working on products that reach customers across the country.
About the Role
Reporting to the Product Development Manager, you will be responsible for the development and delivery of electrical product ranges in line with category strategy, ensuring products meet
quality and margin.
You will work closely with Buyers and suppliers to take products from concept through to launch, balancing innovation, cost, and speed-to-market.
Key Responsibilities
Develop electrical products end-to-end, from initial concept through to final delivery
Manage costings, quotes, and product specifications to achieve target margins
Coordinate sample development, including pre-production and approval stages




Track and manage the Current Product Development (NPD) pipeline
Maintain accurate product data and documentation
Drive product quality, continuous improvement, and innovation across ranges
About You
Experience in product development, ideally within
homewares (not essential)
High attention to detail with a passion for product quality
Commercial mindset with the ability to balance cost, quality, and timelines
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects
Retail or consumer goods experience is highly regarded
