HR Generalist
to join their Melbourne-based team and support employees and leaders across the business.
This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys a true generalist role, partnering closely with operational and technical teams while contributing to both day-to-day HR activities and broader people initiatives.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, you will act as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, providing practical and commercially focused HR support across the full employee lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Provide first-line HR advice and support to managers and employees
Support performance management, talent development and succession planning processes
Assist with employee relations matters, investigations and workplace issues
Coach leaders on people management and employment legislation
Coordinate remuneration reviews and workforce planning activities
Maintain HR policies, procedures and employee records
Drive employee engagement, wellbeing and culture initiatives




Support learning and development programs
Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives
Ensure compliance with relevant employment legislation and workplace policies
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline
Several years experience in a generalist HR position
Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation
Experience supporting operational, manufacturing, logistics, engineering or technical environments is highly regarded
Demonstrated employee relations and stakeholder management experience
Excellent communication and influencing skills
A practical, hands-on and solutions-focused approach
The ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of an organisation
