Coldxpress Refrigerated Transport Vic – Rowville VIC
Cold Xpress Refrigerated Transport is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Credit & Accounts Receivable Officer to join our finance team in Rowville, VIC.
In this key role, you'll be responsible for managing customer accounts, credit control, invoicing, collections, and account reconciliations while building solid relationships with our customers. Working within a fast-paced refrigerated transport and logistics environment, you'll play an important role in maintaining healthy cash flow and ensuring outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end accounts receivable function.
Generate and process customer invoices accurately and on time.
Allocate incoming customer payments.
Monitor outstanding debtor accounts and proactively follow up overdue payments.
Conduct customer account reconciliations and resolve account discrepancies.
Assess and maintain customer credit limits and payment terms.
Build positive relationships with customers while professionally managing collections.
Investigate and resolve invoice and payment queries.
Prepare aged debtor reports and assist with month-end reporting.
Maintain accurate customer account records.
Provide bookkeeping and general finance support as required.
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
Previous experience in a Credit, Accounts Receivable, or Accounts Officer position.
Experience within the transport, logistics, warehousing, or distribution industry (highly regarded).
Robust understanding of credit control and debtor management.
Experience using accounting software Xero
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
The ability to prioritise tasks and work independently in a busy environment.
