rBuilt Group Pty Ltd is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Apprentice Carpenter to join our team on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity to begin your career in the carpentry industry whilst receiving structured on-the-job training from experienced professionals. Based in Kingsgrove NSW, you will work alongside skilled tradespeople, learning the fundamental techniques and practices that form the foundation of a successful carpentry career. This apprenticeship will provide you with hands‐on experience across various carpentry projects and equip you with the practical skills and theoretical knowledge needed to become a qualified tradesperson.
Key responsibilities
Assisting experienced carpenters on site with the preparation, cutting, shaping, and installation of timber and other materials
Learning and applying safe work practices and following all workplace health and safety protocols
Using hand tools and power tools correctly and responsibly under supervision
Measuring, marking and preparing materials for carpentry work
Assisting with the assembly and fitting of doors, windows, joinery and other components
Maintaining a clean and organised work site and equipment
Attending training sessions and progressing through your apprenticeship qualification
Communicating effectively with supervisors and the broader team regarding project requirements and progress
All aspects of roofing
All aspects of carpentry
All aspects of remedial building works
All aspects of renovations
What we're looking for
A genuine interest in learning the carpentry trade and commitment to completing your apprenticeship
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship




Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual work in varying conditions
A strong work ethic, reliability and punctuality
Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
A proactive approach to learning and willingness to take on new challenges
Current or willingness to obtain a valid driver's licence
Relevant HSE (Health, Safety and Setting) qualifications or willingness to obtain them, such as a White Card (Construction Induction Card)
