About the Role
We are seeking a skilledand experienced
Boilermaker / Sheet Metal Worker
to join our manufacturing team based in Dandenong. This is a hands-on fabrication role that offers a mix of welding, metalwork and fitting, along with the opportunity to expand your skills beyond traditional boiler making.
Key responsibilities include:
Fabrication of custom components from engineering drawings
MIG welding (mild steel) - daily requirement
TIG welding (preferred but not essential) for stainless and aluminium work
Structural welding and heavy fabrication
Use of oxy cutters, plasma cutters and workshop equipment
Grinding, drilling, cutting and metal preparation
Fit and finish of cabins and custom components
Surface prep, painting, assembly and finishing work
Basic mechanical fitting and assembly tasks




Maintaining a clean and safe workshop environment
Opportunity to assist on specialised engineering builds and projects
About You
We are looking for a tradesperson who takes pride in their craftsmanship and enjoys working on interesting specialised and custom builds. You enjoy problem-solving and working with a tight-knit team.
You will bring:
Trade qualification as a Boilermaker, Fabricator or Sheet Metal Worker
Proficiency in MIG welding - TIG skills highly regarded
Experience in heavy fabrication and structural welding
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Competence with workshop tools and fabrication equipment
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
Commitment to safety and teamwork
Welding tickets highly desirable but not essential
