Sheforce is seeking two motivated individuals to join our host employer on a major rail infrastructure project as a
Safety Administration Trainee
. This is an entry‐level opportunity designed for candidates with a genuine interest in construction and rail, offering structured training, mentoring and on‐the‐job learning.
About the Role
Based at the rail project site in
Box Hill
and
Heatherton
you will support day‐to‐day safety administration and learn how Work Health and Safety operates in a live construction setting. Under supervision, you will:
Assist with daily, weekly and monthly safety inspections and audits
Support hazard reporting, incident recording and corrective action tracking
Help maintain safety documentation, registers and training records
Assist with SWMS, JSAs, risk assessments and compliance checks
Enter data and support workflows in digital safety systems
Participate in toolbox talks, pre‐starts and safety briefings
Support environmental monitoring activities
Contribute to safety culture and continuous improvement initiatives
This role combines administrative tasks with hands‐on exposure to site safety operations.
Training & Development
You will complete the
Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety
, gaining skills in:
Hazard identification and risk control
Incident reporting and investigation
WHS legislation and compliance
Inspections, audits and safety documentation
Safety communication and consultation
Sheforce provides ongoing mentoring and support throughout your traineeship.
