Sports Performance & Rehabilitation Lead
Control Bionics is a neurotechnology company with more than two decades of expertise in surface electromyography (sEMG). Our platform captures objective, non-invasive muscle activation data and transforms it into decision-ready insights for performance, rehabilitation and research. NeuroStrip, our wearable sEMG sensor, is purpose-built for sport and rehabilitation settings. We are now expanding its presence in the Australian market, partnering with sporting organisations, clinics and research institutions to bring the technology to local practitioners.
About Control Bionics
Control Bionics is a neurotechnology company with more than two decades of expertise in surface electromyography (sEMG). Our platform captures objective, non-invasive muscle activation data and transforms it into decision-ready insights for performance, rehabilitation and research. NeuroStrip, our wearable sEMG sensor, is purpose-built for sport and rehabilitation settings. We are now expanding its presence in the Australian market, partnering with sporting organisations, clinics and research institutions to bring the technology to local practitioners.
About the Role
We're looking for a clinically credible, commercially minded practitioner to lead NeuroStrip's rollout across Australia, supporting organisations from their first demonstration through trial and, ultimately, full implementation. You'll also help practitioners identify where objective neuromuscular data can genuinely strengthen their existing workflows.
It's not a sales role, you won't close deals, but it is commercially critical.

How well you run a trial and build trust with a team will shape whether they become a long-term customer. You'll also be our link back to product. NeuroStrip's core technology is proven, but how it's deployed and supported in the Australian market is still taking shape, and you'll help refine that based on real customer feedback rather than inherit an already-established local program.
What You'll Do
Lead onboarding, training and implementation for new customers, from trial through to embedded day-to-day use.
Help practitioners design practical, meaningful use cases for their setting - return-to-play testing, athlete profiling, rehab progress tracking and similar.
Build genuine working relationships with physiotherapists, exercise physiologists, sports scientists, coaches and researchers.
Deliver presentations, workshops and training sessions that build practitioner confidence with the technology.
Gather structured feedback and translate it into clear, actionable recommendations for the product and engineering teams.
Monitor trial progress, flag risks early, and maintain accurate CRM records so internal stakeholders stay informed.
Collaborate with sales,

product and engineering; contribute to case studies, conferences and research collaborations where relevant.
About You
Essential
At least five years' experience as a practitioner in a clinical, rehabilitation, sports science or high-performance setting, such as physiotherapy, exercise physiology, or exercise and sports science.
Comfortable presenting and educating diverse practitioner audiences.
Strong relationship-building skills with clinicians, coaches or researchers.
Comfortable using data and technology to support clinical or performance decisions.
Commercially aware, autonomous and adaptable - comfortable in a fast-moving workplace as NeuroStrip's presence in the Australian market takes shape.
Desirable
Experience with sEMG or other biosignal technologies.
Accredited qualification, with relevant practical experience.
Conference presentation, case study or research experience.
Practical Requirements
Based in Melbourne and able to work from our Cremorne office, with a current driver's licence and access to a vehicle.
Regular interstate travel, typically for a couple of days every two weeks, plus occasional international travel.
Why Join Us
You'll be joining a neurotechnology company with more than two decades of experience in sEMG, and you'll have a genuine opportunity to help shape one of its newest areas of growth. NeuroStrip is where Control Bionics' proven sEMG platform meets a new market, and you'll play a hands-on role in establishing it across Australia.
