About the role
AsHead of Technology, you will be part of the leadership team. You will be themain point of contact for Technology and IT subject matter expert for theorganisation and related group companies and will be responsible for helping theleadership team take the right IT decisions for the company. This role lies inthe main group holding company that oversees the IT across the 4 differentcompanies owned by the group.
Youwill be main conduit between with the leadership team, suppliers and MSP tooversee technology operation. You will drive the use of technology to driveorganisation wide strategic IT improvements and outcomes. You will responsible forbudgeting, planning pipeline of projects and systems implementations.
We arelooking for a tech sparkle who loves technology- someone who is strategic but curiousabout new and wide variety of technologies, someone who likes to occasionally getinvolved in basic troubleshooting or PowerApp automation or Power BI implementationjust for the fun. The organisation uses alot external vendors including managed service provider, software vendors, teclovendors, etc. You will work along with and provide training and mentorship or othersincluding data analyst, software PM but you will be only IT person in theorganisation thus you might occasionally provide urgent end user support to leadershipteam or users if required.

Responsibilities
Reportingto the Chief Financial Officer, youwill be responsible to:
Develop andimplement the company's ICT strategy in alignment with business goals andobjectives.
Oversee theoperation, maintenance, and security of all hardware, software and networkingsystems.




Manage all IToperations, support services, and risks to ensure a positive participant,client and employee experience.
Supportstrategic growth plans including managing the implementation and integration ofnew and existing systems
Provideadvice and recommendations to the leadership group around technology strategy,governance and information security
Researchabout new technologies in the market and recommend the leadership team aboutnew technologies
Manage andmaintain the ICT Budget making cost-effective decisions regarding technologyprocurement and investment.
Developand continue development of the technology roadmap and prepare business casesand cost / benefit analysis of new initiatives
Evaluate andrecommend ICT solutions that enhance efficiency, security, productivity andcompetitiveness.
Drive digital and technology transformationacross the business, ensuring strong project governance, effective changemanagement, software development delivery and uptake
Implement systems, processes and proceduresto protect the company wide information and data security
Establish andenforce IT policies, processes and security standards to safeguard data andinformation assets.
Develop andmaintain data back-ups, disaster recovery plans and procedures to ensurebusiness continuity. (or overseeMSP implementation)
Manage therelationship with the Managed Services Provider and recommend changes wherenecessary.
Manage theimplementation and integration of new systems and processes.
Ensure theavailability and reliability of IT infrastructure, including servers,



networksand data storage with the ultimate aim being to move as many services andsystems as possible to the cloud.
Contributeto tender preparation and respond to client's tender's information security questionnaires
Manageall IT operation, support services and risk to ensure a robust IT workplace
Stay up todate with the latest trends and advancements in technology and recommend theiradoption where appropriate.
Train andmentor staff on technology best practices, security protocols and effectivesystem usage.
At timesprovide onsite technical support and troubleshooting for employees, consultantsand candidates.
Experienceand Qualification: You MUST have:
Passionate about technology and technologiespotential to improve stakeholders / clients experience and drive growth
Exposure to strategic planning and executionand in the development of technology road-maps
Exceptional stakeholder management experience
Proven track record of successful leadershipwith cross functional teams and business units
Proven experience to manage end-to-endtechnology environments including infrastructure, projects, SaaS softwares,application, vendors, and service
Advanced knowledge of computing software andequipment, general knowledge of computing network, database, programming logic,data modelling and processes.
Knowledge of ITIL methodology, Projectmanagement, IT governance and budgeting
A degree in technology and qualification inProject management will be highly regarded
Previous experience of budgeting, financialmanagement, financial reporting
Experience developing business case andpresenting business cases to executive team
Experience with Python and MYOB Exo shall behighly regarded
Previous experience as IT Manager or Head ofIT shall be highly regarding
Ability to provide remote support
